Issue 1 – WAIC-Mag special edition

Women in AI Cameroon (WAIC) launches the first issue of its magazine, a special edition celebrating the contributions of Cameroonian women to artificial intelligence, data and digital innovation.

This first issue highlights inspiring journeys through portraits of professionals and researchers who are actively building the AI ecosystem, nationally and internationally.

It also offers in-depth analysis of strategic issues such as digital sovereignty, data quality, and the opportunities and challenges of developing artificial intelligence in Cameroon.

Finally, the magazine presents initiatives, resources and programmes to strengthen AI skills, encourage collaboration and open up access to opportunities in the field.

With WAIC Magazine, the ambition is to create a reference platform to document, connect and promote women's talent in artificial intelligence, while contributing to an inclusive, ethical AI rooted in local realities.
